The black woman from the first tiktok has a garbage delivery but she's mostly right. That's something I've been learning for the past couple of years.
Ain’t no patriarchy in the black community anyway.Whenever I hear the word patriarchy and especially when it’s being used to discuss relationship dynamics I scoff and think that woman is batshyt
A man is supposed to be a patriarch in the house hold
No.So you're saying that men should open up and take the abuse for a "healthy relationship"?
A masculine expression looks like "yeah my dog died. I'm sad about it cause he's been with me for years and through my struggles. Life won't be the same without him but it is what it is. I'm heading out later to bury him and say goodbye so I'm going to bed early. Gonna be a long drive to get there"
I am going to laugh 10 years from now when people's understanding of domestic abuse develops to the point of understanding how abusive some women are.
Nagging incessantly, using information disclosed in confidence against someone is highly abusive behaviour. No one calls them out on it so they just regard it as shyt that is acceptable.
