I dont know how true these stories are but what's the nature of these relationships/frienships.

Common sense isn't common anymore. Someone come to your place, you provide food, they go to your place, you provide food. Simple common sense, or if If you are there alot or all the time you give them grocery money. Common sense common courtesy.

This should not even be a convesation, all this technology and people are losing their minds.

And cooking should only be 50/50 if both parties are working. In fact men who make their women work should have to fend for themselves on principle. But by nature the women SHOULD still be doing the cooking. If she wants to be a good woman for a possibly unworthy man she chose

i do the cooking in my crib. both me and my wife work professional jobs. I cook better so I took that task . She handles the cleaning and running our son to his extracurriculars and shyt.

gotta find a system that works for you as a couple.

If we didn't keep this lil nikka busy with band and sports, he'd definitely be a big back. nikka be destroying the pantry. Gotta hide the snacks and shyt, but he still finds em.

Never been in a relationship where a woman was happy when I didn't eat .

The food sits there too long in the fridge and suddenly they're having an existential about themselves and their cooking. But I've never been in a relationship where I wasn't cooking the food as well or paying for groceries.

Food is one of those things I've never been stingy about. Even as a kid when we had bags of chips or whatever food, I was never mad at sharing. When I cook, I expect you to eat it. You probably might eat more of my food than I do and that's fine.

I have been guilty of eating a lot of food my mother cooked and left over. Or even stuff she bought take out. She didn't seem to have much issue with that tbh. *(Same shyt I said before about asking why I'm not eating if it doesn't go fast enough)* But I think it really is an American issue where we're just too used to eating too large of portions of food. And a lot of it isn't as filling as it should be. So then we overeat at times we shouldn't because of that hunger.

"Weaponizing" is odd language. Especially with all the overweight black women AND men in this country. But we're only hearing one side of gluttonous overconsumption. Nowadays everyone wants to be the victim but never brings up what their flaws have been in relationships/friendships or with family. Nobody is perfect. But the internet makes us feel better when we can air out grievances one-sided.

Because in our community , us males are taught and brought up to contribute in the household - unless those women are Caribbean or African

Sounds like she dating nikkas with eating disorders or a lack of respect. I understood as a kid, that you dont just eat all the food. I smashed in my younger days but still nevet even considered eating all the food.
