That's not to say marriage is perfect. We don't know how many of them rich folks cheat, but them dudes understand the importance of it.

Now would I get married? Well let's just say i think we need an overhaul and should be protesting what's in place now
Yup. You have to REALLY know your girl before putting a ring on it.

I always tell people irl that a man should live with a woman for at least 2 years before getting married because, then, you'll find out for sure if you're ready for it or not.

Take it from someone who's actually dealt with legit millionaires before.

They value marriage more than any other demographic in America. The notion that rich men want to live like perpetual childless bachelors with swarms of IG thots and models is generally a fantasy and more of a "new money" phenomenon(which includes many athletes and musicians.)

But non-celebrity rich men desire marriage and kids big time because it's their way of establishing and building their legacy and maintaining their prestigious image. Married men are more trusted than single men in the corporate world and many rich men desire to keep their bloodlines going. This is precisely how a lot of non-celebrity rich White/Jewish and Asian/Indian men operate here in the East Coast. They might sleep around in their youth to get it out their system but they most definitely desire a wife and kids once they've made it even if they're not "truly in love."

Now, on paper, a rich man avoiding marriage and living the bachelor life sounds very desirable. I wouldn't even fault any man for wanting to live that way because it's very alluring and gives you a lot of freedom. But a lot of rich men irl are very calculated thinkers who think about the long term and care about building generational wealth more than having fun for most of their lives.

Rich people also have the lowest divorce rates in America. A lot of the decline of marriage and rise of divorce rates in America affect the working and middle class more than the wealthy.
Most of these wealthy ppl from a different generation though

Cant compare baby boomers to what millennials are dealing with now

First and foremost if you are rich 99% of women around you or in your circle want you for your shyt. Better have an iron clad pre nup . All that legacy talk is just talk. What you worked hard for and value doesnt your wife and kids will value it. If you want a wife or kids start before you rich.

What would you do in this scenario: no one wanted you when you were on your journey to wealth but became a millionaire and tons of women started chasing after you?

I don't understand why these pro athletes, rappers, etc don't get full custody of the child(ren). You can avoid the child support issue it you have full custody or primary custody.

Also a lot of these athletes are dummies who fall victim to these groupies who give them a little attention. Be like Jeter and wait until you're retired and older before settling down.

i don't understand why a normal person would want to keep a child from the other parent just to save money. but key word, normal lol

not to mention they probably have to pay a nanny given that those types are never home so is it really saving money? or saving your feelings :francis:

It's not about keeping the child away from the parent. A lot of these women who have a baby with these male celebrities do it as a financial come up. If these women weren't guaranteed to get an enormous amount of money via child support, would they even be dealing with these dudes?

These women who are getting enormous amounts of money from child support, do you really think that money is going towards the well being of the child or is it to fund the lifestyle of these women?

I'm actually harder on men who get with a woman that is clearly no good than the women themselves. This isn't the 80s, 90s, or 2000s. If you're a millionaire with "new money" (rapper, actor, athlete) and you're still having a child(ren) with these groupies, that's on you and I don't have sympathy for you. :francis:

yeah unfortunately once that revenge of the nerds "wait til i get my money right" nut is bust and the baby is here, all that "does she want me for me" doesn't matter lol. it's the best interest of the child at that point and i would think a normal millionaire would want their child to live the same lifestyle that they do, even when they are with the other parent. i mean, imagine you are a millionaire and when the kid is with you they live lavish but when they go to the other parent they live normal or below average. that would probably mess with the kids head. courts try to make sure the kid is living as stable as possible.

Whole thread is hilarious.

Bunch of peasants in here arguing about what drapes the Lord should have in his manor. :pachaha:

Whole conversation is out of our domain. I'm certain a person's perspective changes dramatically once you have money on their level. I don't think they view loss like we do.

Wild "advice" considering Rupert Murdoch - a 92yr old billionaire - was just engaged to be married for like the 19th time last year and Buzz Aldrin - a 93yr old millionaire - remarried for a FOURTH time in January.

People with money have an incredibly high marriage success rate.

How about, if you don't plan to honor your vows, don't get married.
Once you take out celebs, most of them are average looking so any options to play the field are based on $ which is an empty benefit to being rich for them.
