If you care about this kid, you'll do everything in your power to help him lose weight (through activity, not tanking calories or low carb dieting) before puberty really sets in. Fat is estrogenic. It's a location for aromatization. Fatter = increased possibility of a hormone imbalance favoring estrogen. Estrogen quite literally fukks up everything, going far beyond fat deposition. Lose the weight before his Test spikes and he's fighting an uphill battle.

He may be hypothyroid, as well. Get it checked and not just for TSH.

Will talk to his mom coz he needs to get checked out.

I was thinking more along psychological lines but yeah a hormone imbalance at such a young age, at any age, isnt good.

Like folks said he needs to be in a sport. The ass thing probably a combination of weight gain, distrubdistr, and how he walks.

I got some massive thighs and ass. You got to stay on the cardio and keep up with core exercises. They keep your legs tone and core strength coupled with lower back exercises keeps dudes from walking with that big ass curved spine. Also the boys body will start to produce more testosterone if he's been muscles during puberty.

My nephew "Johnny" is 11 years old.

Last year he just began to put on weight. No change in diet, medication or environment...

But with the weight gain he overall looks plumer, - face, arms, legs... His ass unfortunately grew very much noticably bigger. He dresses like the other boys in those skinny jeans and all.

So what made me make the thread was that while out at a family activity it was his turn and a man called out that, "hey its your turn miss!".

My nephew went off!!! I didnt find it funny at the time, but yeah I kinda laughed later alone at home (I laughed at my nephews hillarious outraged reaction, not at his body, though it looks feminine to be honest)

A female family member once said to me that, "Johnny has an ass like a girl", this was like a year or so before the plumpening... I just said that lets not give him a complex about it...

Oh his dad is skinny and tall so he is quite tall too. But his mom, though shorter, is VERY curvy, big ass and big shapely hips and a tiny waist - (the type of figure people have injections/fat transfers and ribs removed to achieve).

He has brothers and they do not have this body type.

Coz of Johnny's height he looks like a person in their early teens. But coz he is still a little boy he doesn't have a "man face" - dont know how else to say it..

Would working out/becoming more athletic make a significant difference to his body? Make it more masculine...

Anyone dealt with this male body type or know a man who went through this?

Any hope or he should accept, embrace and keep it moving?

But is it wise for all of us to act like we cant see that he is going through a very obvious physical transformation.

Would any talk that was ever had with him be better coming from a man or a woman?

I too was a husky youngster. Had to wear Husky’s too lol. Luckily I found football when I was 11.

Get him involved in sports as quickly as possible. In sports a young man with big glutes are a treasure to coaches and scouts because they use that shyt to project future growth. His old man is tall that means he’ll prob be too and will grow into his frame. The ass is only a muscle, so if his mother is shapely that means by the time the youngster is 16/17 he should have an athletic frame if he’s been active and on the weights.

Put him in football and see if he can handle it. He may fukk around and like it. Then he’ll be in the company of big assed Men. But they’ll be Men in a Manly environment doing Man shyt. And won’t be no more jokes either, I can almost guarantee you that.

It’s a fukkin 11 year old, y’all have full control over his diet :gucci:

Get him eatin the right shyt in the right amounts and get him more active, he’ll grow out right. Still too early to have him lifting weights like that unless y’all about to have somebody else with him at the gym full time that knows what their doing which I doubt.

He a growin boy so the main thing is controlling his intake and making sure he dont pig out

You really can’t just relax if you’re one of the adults responsible for him. He’s gonna hear alotta jokes until he grows into himself and by the time he does he could be fukked up mentally. I mean it’s already started according to the OPs post, so it’s crucial to get him involved in something now that will not only boost his self esteem but give him some respect among his peers. Plenty of funny shaped football players but they don’t take the kinda abuse the introverted ones who are trying to avoid the people and their jokes have to endure.

Also wouldn’t be a bad idea to get him started in boxing, which is something I recommend for all the youngsters I deal with. If someone does try to single him out it won’t be a bad thing to know how to handle himself. This thread reminded me of a YouTube video I saw some years ago I’ll see if I can find it.
