The Arsenal
Real football that is.:mjlit:.

Should we take a look at the thirty most valuable sports franchises in the world? Half of them are NFL teams.:wow:.
that's because it's a closed league with revenue sharing, no threat of relegation, etc. soccer is a bunch of different teams in different countries making and losing money because of the cut throat competition. the american franchise system is socialism among the rich and european football is raw dog eat dog capitalism.

Not capping for the NFL but even the biggest & richest clubs in Europe now want to break away from Fifa and form a super league of their own to make even more money and to separate themselves from the smaller inferior clubs. Plus the top and mid-table teams tend to always stay the same year in and year out so the promotion/relegation argument is always a tad overrated to me.

Fifa world cup is the worlds biggest sport event after olympics
Yes NFL is crazy popular in North America, outside of that? Ehhhh

I'd say even bigger than the olympics. I remember being in Nigeria for the 2018 world cup, the whole country like stopped when Nigeria was playing.

The only other time I've seen something like that was when Canada had the olympics in 2010 and we were playing us in the gold medal game

You missed the point of his post.

The reason those teams want to breakaway is to form a league like the NFL where they can’t ever lose revenue and can collect money among themselves and suppress wages.

American sports leagues are a legal form of a cartel.
