Please remake the OG Metal Gears. They're crying for remakes

I would rather it be a remake tho.
The camera is such a pain in this game.
Another thing I'll say about MGS3 that I don't appreciate, is how linear it is.
It almost feels like a game with levels/stages. Almost like the MGS VR missions except without the VR aesthetic.
As I'm playing through it (being the hardcore MGS stan I am) I'm reminded of all the things I disliked about MGS3 and how I never understood why people put it as the #1 MGS game.
The camouflage system to me is more a distraction that pulls you out of the immersion. Any time a game requires you to essentially pause the game and navigate systems in the middle of tense critical moments I see that as a less than ideal design choice.
Ocelot is as cheesy as I remember and it just doesn't fit with the overall tone of the game and the seriousness of every other character. That's Kojima being Kojima, but usually when he gets goofy like that there's more of a balance across the character and the story beats. That goofy meowing he does is unforgivable lol.
Running into the inventor of Metal Gear Rex and seeing his designs in HD glory put a huge smile on my face and at the same time...
RUN ME MY FREAKIN Metal Gear NES Remake and my Metal Gear Solid Remake!!! (And I don't care about Twin Snakes. They know exactly what we want. Go boot up that MGSVTPP engine and GET TO WORK!)

Hell no to the top down perspective.
It had it's charm for it's time but even then, MGS and Resident Evil used to piss me off with the amount of off camera enemies.
I wouldn’t mind a ground up remake, as long as they stayed away from 3rd person. I would want something as close to MGS as possible then, and I don’t trust them to not fukk that up
This and Silksong are in rotation. This basically confirms MGR2.

They need to do portable ops/peace walker next.

Yep, I love PW but I tried to play it on my Vita recently (by the way why the fukk doesn't the Vita version of the HD collection includes de remastered PW with second stick support?
) and its fukking rough with those controls, would really love a remake but they need to let go and change more stuff, PW is a product of the handheld it was designed for

They should release some DLC (hopefully free) of some brand new areas where they can experiment on level design, enemy behavior etc.
