That 1st Meth Lab was trash.....hands down his worst effort ever. Tical 0 was 10 X better. There wasn't 1 song that i wanted to keep for my playlist...not 1.

I'll check for this new project on the strength but my hopes aren't high

Wasn't really a Meth album and this one isn't either. It's Hanz' project and he's just putting Meth name on it for more recognition. These Meth lab projects are just a platform for some of the young Wu-affiliated Staten Island artists. The last real Meth album is 4:20 and it was very solid.

Forever :salute: to Hanz. He's the soldier that punched Joe Budden in the eye for getting out of line.

The Last Method Man project that was any good was 420. Other than that most of his solo stuff has been super disappointing and honestly none of his protoges are better than average rappers.

this

loads of people still sample and make great beats, i dunno what mef is trying to do here

First...it's not really Meth's project.

Second...who are these producer's who's making sample based beats that Hanz can afford?

Just take this for what it is...a mixtape of little known Staten Island rappers with some Method Man features. Meth himself said that the last album was just a compilation mixtape and not a real Meth solo album.

Meth is co-signing but it's not a real Meth solo project. Hanz is one of Rae and Meth's henchmen and he's the one commandeering these projects. He's the big dude that punched Joe Budden in the face when he was getting real disrespectful towards Meth. And I doubt they have the budget to pay for the samples that some of the sample based beats some of these producers may want to submit. It is what it is. That's how Hip Hop is right now. Alot of these artists aren't going to be rhyming over dope sampled based beats unless they have a machine that's willing to pay for em. Only a few MCs are consistently rhyming over samples these days.
