The Clan is done. How do you get handed an opportunity for free publicity like this, and fukk it up? You can't take your time and do a dope verse, instead of rushing it at 3AM? The remix isn't even out yet for christs sake, there was no hurry.

These dudes are just straight up stupid, that's all it comes down to. Passing up free tour money, fukking up their anniversary by not releasing ANYTHING, jesus christ. They can't go to Alchemist and do a project? If RZA wants to do some beats cool, but at this point it's clear the rest of the Clan needs to make moves. RZA is busy, nothing wrong with that - he's making big moves in Hollywood. It's time for the Clan to think long term instead of this petty shyt.

But if he didn't call it Wu Tang Forever there wouldn't be no remix with all you Wu Tang members and most people wouldn't even have the slightest clue these mufukkas still exist. A whole new generation is about to be exposed to the Wu cause of this song and this remix they about to do.

If any of them got a problem with what Drake did then simple don't do the remix with him.

Why do they keep mentioning this really strict timeline to record their verses and the shyt still hasn't dropped :what:

I could care less about Drake and the name of the song, I actually thought the track was aiite, but I just want a new Wu Tang song.

I dont know how old you are,but meth is reflecting the old school real nikka principled way of thinking. All that BOW DOWN/GO ALONG TO GET ALONG ANYTHING FOR MORE MONEY mentality is corny and the root of hiphop's downfall

He's definetly passing up free publicity and money. Didnt Meth just get his truck repo'd for tax evasion so he needs to tuck his tail and do er thing possible to make sure his family is straight

Drake introducing a whole new era to Wu Tang is a free hook up

You pay homage and people say it's disrespectful
You don't pay homage and people say it's disrespectful.....smh

Ain't nothing corny or "bow down" about this. The biggest "new" rapper asked you, his idols, to be on a track with him. If you think turning him down is some good idea I don't know what to tell you. It ain't about principle either, considering most of these dudes have "sold out" for cash multiple times and performed with a hologram of Ole Dirty.

When Taylor Swift asks her idols to come out for a performance with her, or do a video with her, they do it. You think Fleetwood Mac is hurting for cash? Nah. They do it because they recognize Swift's fans may not know who they are, and therefore doing shyt with her=reaching new fans. I bet you Stevie Nicks thinks Taylor's music is poppy crap, but she still goes out when asked. It has nothing to do with selling out, it's about expanding your audience.

Wu been rapping to the same people for more than a decade. I'm not saying Drake was gonna give them 500k new fans or some shyt, but it's FREE publicity and you can build off that buzz.

"I mean Drake is a dope artist. I knew where he was going with it," he said. "He just shouldn't have called it "Wu-Tang Forever." He could've called it anything else 'cause there's just one little reference in there but it's nice that someone pays homage but like I said, I like the dude. I respect him."

Meth's issue is that he WASN'T feeling the song. He turned what many thought was a good tribute into some ol Dawson Creek sounding bullshyt. Why couldn't he rep it like Lil Wayne did the CREAM freestyle? It seemed that Drake did this to troll hardcore rap fans to get a reaction
