Why do they keep mentioning this really strict timeline to record their verses and the shyt still hasn't dropped :what:

I could care less about Drake and the name of the song, I actually thought the track was aiite, but I just want a new Wu Tang song.

based on the timeline perhaps Drake asked for it to be done by the album launch, perhaps it was gonna be a bonus track or something. sounds like the track came through at the last minute, somebody (most likely rza) agreed to it, they had a deadline to get it back to drake, they hit the studio after a show and did some quick shyt. either that or they didn't really wanna spend too much time on the track so they just allocated an hour for whoever wanted to get on it to do something and they did and kept it moving. and mef didn't like what he did so he had it removed.

Wait so only Ugod, masta ace, and cap are confirmed?:huhldup::flabbynsick:

im pretty sure masta ace isn't on it, that would be random as hell.

The internet would LITERALLY explode.

Imagine this nikka titling the song "Keep Ya Head Up" and it being about a stripper who got impregnated by Lil Wayne and Drake being the simp he is moving her out to Canada to live with him because he "gets it":russ:

Or a song called "Ambitionz As A Rida" about how fascinated he is with a stripper riding the pole so perfectly that he falls in love only to discover that some random nikka that lives in Atlanta has already laid claim to her:pachaha:

Or a song called "I Ain't Mad At Cha" about a stripper who cheated on him and he had to find out by going through her purse while she's in the bathroom:lolbron:

:laff::laff:
I might move onto another genre, y'all could have this shyt if you post comes true :deadrose:

Ain't nothing corny or "bow down" about this. The biggest "new" rapper asked you, his idols, to be on a track with him. If you think turning him down is some good idea I don't know what to tell you. It ain't about principle either, considering most of these dudes have "sold out" for cash multiple times and performed with a hologram of Ole Dirty.

When Taylor Swift asks her idols to come out for a performance with her, or do a video with her, they do it. You think Fleetwood Mac is hurting for cash? Nah. They do it because they recognize Swift's fans may not know who they are, and therefore doing shyt with her=reaching new fans. I bet you Stevie Nicks thinks Taylor's music is poppy crap, but she still goes out when asked. It has nothing to do with selling out, it's about expanding your audience.

Wu been rapping to the same people for more than a decade. I'm not saying Drake was gonna give them 500k new fans or some shyt, but it's FREE publicity and you can build off that buzz.

:what: at people talking about Wu-Tang should do this for some kind of publicity. There is zero overlap between Drake/Wu-Tang core fan bases. There is probably people that listen to both, but no one, anywhere on the planet is going to hear Drake's album and suddenly go check for "Liquid Swords" or "OB4CL".

They can tour anywhere in the U.S. or virtually anywhere in the world at almost any time of year, 20 years after their debut. Trust me, they don't need a Drake co-sign.

Drake stans in this thread really think that Wu-tang needs him to be relevant and push some units. These cats had their time already, became legends, sold records, and didnt have to compromise themselves artistically or latch on to anyone elses brand to do it.

The real Wu-tang Forever went 4x platinum (thats more than any Drake album) and it was a Hip Hop album, not some watered down fugazi R&B joint.

fukk outta here with this Drake's doing them a favor by dikkriding them nonsense. Yall are some shameless mfers. Yall sound like whores.
