Been waiting on the Crystal Method. .... he was my favorite Clan member when I was younger (I'm sure he was most people's) till I realized how lackluster his solo catalog is. ... especially compared to Ghost

Would be interested to see the production credits for the meth lab. I thought he was in the lab with 4th for this but I didn't hear no evidence of that.

i read it said 4th and math did production on this. i cant tell tho. im feeling meths verses, carlton fisk and streetlife .. but eh on the other guys.

Math did Pledge and 2 minutes, 4th did Intelligent and Another Winter

feelin all those, especially Pledge which is really dope. could do w/o alot of the guests but this is a real solid project. if Crystal Meth has top flight prod it will be a banger. Meth still sounds sharp

Tical 2000 Meth and Street Life were just spitting heavy bars. Dudes hated the skits and bashed the entire disc.

Mobb and Hell Razah on a track together, Hav wasn't trying to be outshined by Prodigy either.

Meth was hurt by the reviews on this and never rapped like this again.

Streetlife killed T2000, but i might be biased cause I always liked duke's flow. he fukking massacred "Semi Automatic, Full Metal Rap Jacket" on the High School High soundtrack and then murked "Deadly Melody" & "Hellz Wind Staff" on Wu-Tang Forever and after hearing him on that lp, I was all in on him. Meth letting him ride shotgun on Tical 2000 was a smart move cause he owned that shyt. it's fukked up that his solo album never dropped in 2001 like it was supposed to. This mixtape coulda been really nice if mef got some better beats and just like Street and Carlton Fisk (finally outta prison!) just spit all over it instead of these other no-names.

Lyrically meth rips everything, he's as nice as he's ever been. The beats are OK not great, coulda been better. Can't stand the wack weed carriers he's got features on here but ill suffer through it to hear meth cuz he's personal top 5 and he's spitting crazy.

That album has some really high moments but it's too much damn filler on it

hope hes realized he can make a great album w/o rza. if he's involved even better.

He had an album of the year like a decade, ago.
Meth knows what he is doing and he just released this album.
In a climate with a similar vibe as that time period was too.
So, I am not worried about meth.
Especially since he has been focused for a decade plus, now.

Meth at his best in his exact element as a solo is:

Sub crazy

That is pretty much what would be looked at as vintage raw meth.
Before any styles era based changes to the sonic landscape, and era that meth originally was in his sweet spot in.
He just so happens to be arguably the most technically gifted all around emcee, in the history of rap.
With the highest ranking marks in any rap skill needed to be a goat.
His only crutch is consistently bringing an illness factor if he gets disinterested.
Aside from that Achilles heel, method will never typically have any bad outings.
So, that is why both ticals have those moments

Which is from one of the worst cultural damning and setback laced incidents in all of rap history.
Even in that meth still produced enough shyt to get tical2000 fan sentiment and note like yours.

It ended up sounding mostly like the compilation it was supposed to be in the first place. Lots of kinda average guys cluttering up the mic space & many weak, basic-loop-on-a-beat-tape type beats.

Still some good cuts worth checking & a few guests bring it besides Meth but, like most compilations, there's only a few tracks really worth your time.

Oh shyt...I think I remember u from SOHH.

U used to do whole songs like each member of Wu.
