If you've ever been to a Wu-Tang show, you realise that at one point in time - Meth was THAT dude. Like you peep 36 Chambers - it's his charisma that stands out.


I was at Coachella this year and Meth dominated the Wu set.

At a point in time he was THAT dude and you can still see why.

I think Meth could come back stronger than Raekwon recently has if he wasnt so damn lazy. Every time I hear an interview with him he is saying shyt like "Crystal Meth? Oh I'm too busy playing video games to really start recording that."

Nows the time! Get in the booth and get some features on newer releases then drop Crystal Meth. If Rae can do it, then Meth can.

Meth is still that guy yo. He's one of my favorite Wu members for a reason. He can spit(his albums just don't get put together well), he's a really likable guy, and dude just has a special presence to him that the rest of the WU doesn't.

Method Man infuriates me more than any other rapper. I'm on record saying that dude is the most disappointing rapper of all time.

Dude had literally every ingredient necessary to be Top 5 of all time: rhymes, flow, voice, charisma, a standout member of arguably the most influential group in the history of his genre of music, image, a couple hit singles, a GOAT producer candidate at his disposal, and most importantly, he came out during a time that wanted him to win. A lot of people can't say that. IMO, he's the only rapper to outshine Pac and Biggie on songs with them while they were alive - hell of an accomplishment. :whoo: Then you add in the TV/movie stuff?

But he's rap's only Hall of Famer without a marquee album. Even Tical doesn't *really* measure up to the *real* classics of that era, IMO. And after that, his solos just fell flat. 4:21 was cool, but it was too late. His albums with Redman were dope, can't take that away from him. But I just don't get how he couldn't put it all together when he already had so many things on his side.

He could've been Top 5, or at least Top 10. I don't even know if he makes my Top 25. :snoop:

Absolutely how I feel about Meth. And to top it off, dude is lazy. He openly admits that the only reason the Crystal Method album hasn't dropped yet is because he's too lazy to get in the Booth and finish the record :snoop:

Oh, back then Meth was definitely my favorite Wu nicca. Had me buying wack niccas CDs just for a Meth verse. Then he got with Red and got on that lazy, weedhead shyt and the rest is history. I would still check for a mixtape if he ever got around to making one.
