Futuristic era in Atlanta is the one era we created no other region could copy. Crunk was here and Memphis. Trap was everywhere. Snap was shortlived. Futuristic was distinctly ours and that’s why the nostalgia is hittin so hard if you were outside during that era

Great to hear Roscoe, Skool Boy, Dro, J Money, LA and others who defined the sound get some love on this project

You right...I was in ATL heavy during this time.

This era was unfairly hated on to me..shyt was straight feel good get fly party music.

This shyt is fire. You just had to be there. Music was so fun in this era

I was there and this era was trash. I hated a lot of the club/ringtone music from 05-10 and am mad this sound dominated my prime clubbing years. 98-04 and 2011-2017 had much better music.

That Gucci and Dro song is some 07/08 Gucci. Also fukkin with Wacka’s track. But overall, I’m cool on revisiting this era. But this a nostalgia piece for those who liked it, kinda like what K Dot did on GNX with that old electronic LA sound on a few tracks

These artists need A&R back - no way a project like this should be more than 12 tracks
