He was waived probably because both teams wanna rebuild.
He can still contribute especially during the playoffs.

You think he can go back to the Pacers? Or Bulls?
No. He was cut because he stinks. Can't guard perimeter players. Can't shoot. Can't get to the basket. Can't score in the post.
He just really struggles on the floor, you have to have him guard undersized pf's without first steps.
Why was Beno cut?
Not sure who's considering him but I heard he's interested in Miami, San Antonio, or going back to Houston.
He fell out of the rotation, and wanted the chance to go somewhere else. I mean, shyt. Wouldn't you?
Problem is your logic for Artest being cut doesn't follow with Beno. Beno didn't fall out of the rotation because he sucked. Or at least he doesn't suck as much as the guy getting minutes- who's thoroughly embarrassed himself all year.
