I know that part of their history. I refuse to take that as the reason because that means that retribution has more power than collective action.

As for Haitians getting attacked, that is very unfortunate. However, I am not going to indict a whole demographic based on what happened to those who have been harmed.

As far as Black and Brown relations go where I live, it is rather complicated and usually individuals on both sides either get along or not depending on varying factors.

Yes. For years a few reporters tried to point out that the opposition to Salvadoran illegals in Southern Mexico mirrored the opposition to Mexican illegals in border states in America.

Still, I wonder if they've been hard on Haitians and others crossing over into Mexico prior to Trump getting in office along with Covid being a thing. Cuz the US especially since Trump got in, put a lot of pressure on Mexico to mitigate the amount of people coming across the boarder.
