At the end of the day, it’s a mess.

Both countries are complaining about many of the same things here. What does that tell you?

At the end Irvine day, there are limited resources and people in control have driven up prices on those resources today to the point this is happening.
As usual it's the rich that benefit while everyone else is so focused on fighting eachother.

They hire immigrants because they can just have them deported if they ask for higher wages or better working conditions. They buy property locally and abroad because people need homes to survive. They jack up the price to the point where the only people that can buy homes are either rich individuals who will use the house as an investment or property developers who will tear it down and build an apartment complex or townhouses and charge ridiculous rents.

There are over 60 million Latinos living in America. It is literally impossible to deport that many people in one or even 2 presidential terms without tanking the economy. Let's look at it mathematically:
Let's say out of those 60 million, 40 million are working age adults. That is ten MILLION more than the population of Texas and 1.5 million less than the entire population of Canada.

If we say out of those 40 million adults, 35 million are working and spending up to $20,000 a year on goods and services, that means 70 BILLION dollars of ANNUAL revenue vanishes. It's gone. These people are also paying tax. What do you think will happen to the government's revenue? If we take a ballpark guess here and say they collect 20 billion in taxes every year from migrants/citizens of Latin heritage, that money is GONE.

If you think shyt is bad now?

Yeah, at the end of the day, all over the world, there are the wealthy and there are the regular people.

Regular people got to worry dang near about everything. They’re a few bad incidents away from their life being is a bad spot. Things are delicate.

Wealthy people make money when regular people are doing good or when they struggle.

The Keystone State
Amerucans / Gringos / tourists are concentrated in somewhat of a small bubble anyway. I doubt most of those protesters could afford to live in Condessa or Polanco or Roma anyway. The business owners (mostly whitxicans) jack up the prices there and are often bilingual. The citizens can pretty much move a few blocks back and have a similar quality of life without all the gringos.

Also they say americans are there on tourist visas working remotely and not paying tax. That is kinda gaming the system. The government could easily say if u want a 180 day visa you gotta pay 100usd a month. Problem solved. That would be more federal tax than any of those street vendors ever would pay.
