Trump is a egotistical dumbass he put himself as well as this country in an unnecessary situation, by trying to play hardball and please his supporters. Now Trump has to take action because you can bet that other countries are watching and if Trump gets punked, or Mexico plays him then other countries will do the same.

Im honestly just waiting to see what Trump plans to do becuase like you said Mexico is a HUGE trade partner with us just as vital if not more vital than china, it shall be interesting thats for sure.

Peso losing value ain't always a bad thing in this globalized economy. Exports go up cuz more people can afford to buy more of your goods.

Im talking from a mexican point of view but clearly you've never taken an economics class clown. I'll make it simple let's say someone in the USA can afford to buy 10 products worth $5 each from someone in Mexico. Peso drops 10% so now that same customer can afford about 12 products at $5 a pop. As long as its not a long term thing a weaker currency helps exports and strengthens domestic manufacturing dumbass.

1. A 10% increase would not give you 2 goods for the same price in your example , that's basic math, you would get 11. I guess I failed algebra too

2. Your example means people will get cheaper goods abroad, so domestic USA manufacturing would get hurt as more money flows to the place with cheaper goods.
