Its not finished, halfway through the game they start having you replay old missions while the story just ends suddenly.

Yep, the second act of the game is just previous missions repeated on hard mode and the last mission is the prologue all over again with a single difference.

There was a entire 3rd act cut from the final game, including the final boss because Konami wanted Kojima to get the fukk out.

Legit argument for GOAT gameplay. Everything is fluid, shyt works as it's supposed to, the different ways you can approach missions/objectives is great. The open world shyt is jarring at first just due to how linear shyt used to be, but the gameplay makes everything seem more compact if that makes sense. Game really will have you feeling yourself as the greatest soldier in the world.

Story is status. The potential was there, but budget cuts fukked up a lot of shyt that could have otherwise been good.

Game is awesome, it easily has the most tight gameplay experience of last Gen. Everything the game does, it does so perfectly. It just sucks that the game was clearly unfinished and they rushed the story.

and I wasnt big into MG for alot of games that I skipped

you fulton the dudes back and build your base and attack other people's online
at one point I was 28,000 rank online with the base... I was putting in heavy work online
I figured 28k was high enough for all the grinding I did to make it that far
