Signing Beasley and Oden doesn't ensure shyt for MIA. They didn't cake walk to the finals last season, and the East will be noticeably better at the top this time around.

They're the favorites, but title lock? Nah. If it weren't for that choke job SA pulled in game 6, Heat fans would have offed themselves.
like i said title lock till we get beat 4 times enjoy the ride nikka

Wish Miami would have signed Ronnie Brewer when he was available, but Beasley shows occasional flashes of all star talent & could add the extra depth the Heat need, however it remains to be seen if Michael Beasley can help Miami 3 peat.

Okay maybe not 10th but Dude will be backing up Lebron and Haslem. Lebron will typically play 40 mins a game. With him not being muc of a rebounder I dont see us giving him much playing time on a team that struggles to rebound like we do
Bron aint playing 40 a night

I don't know how anyone can criticize this signing. He hasn't proved himself consistent enough to be the NBA star he was originally projected as but if you have a 7th or 8th man that has the ability to take over a game, that's a huge plus.

That's the problem though, his lack of a work ethic and inability to play defense, rebound and make smart plays is wants gonna hold him back from being the 7th or 8th man in Miami. He was struggling to get 20 mins a game last year on a terrible Suns squad so it's not a stretch to suggest that Beas will probably ride the bench and only get 5-10 mins on a contending team like the Heat.

Beas is a PF who likes to play like a guard and since Miami already has 5 guards who play significance minutes in the rotation (chalmers, wade, ray, cole, Bron) the only spot for him would be with the PF/C. And the problem with that is you already have a soft big in Bosh and having two soft big's isn't gonna be helpful in the playoffs against teams like the Bulls, Pacers, and Nets who have all gotten better. All of these guys will have priority over Beas.

Chalmers
Wade
Bron
Haslem
Bosh

Ray
Battier
Bird
Oden: if healthy
Cole

My Pops Forever RIP
I'm happy for Beas, but reading these posts, Riley could sign Isaiah Rider RIGHT NOW to a 4 year deal and y'all would praise Riley. Y'all have been burying him for a minute now, now he goes back to MIA and he's supposed to be rehabilitated?

I hope he gets his shyt together, but just settle for him getting his life in order because Riley has a soft spot for him. His game isn't gonna change because LeBron is now his teammate.

:dead:@riley having a soft spot for beasley. he didn't even want to draft him and you saw how quickly he got rid of him for some dusty ass 2nd round picks

he's a businessman at the end of the day - if he feels like you have something meaningful to contribute to his team, he'll give you a shot.
