Why does everyone think this interview is great?

Reasons?

I skimmed through it, and don't really want to invest 2 hours + of my time.

It's scary. These are like men in their 40s emotionally stunted due to excessive alcohol and weed use. Interupting each other when things get too intense, slurring, looking unhealthy.

Ice T never touched weed, has a beautiful family, is physically fit, looks 20 years younger, and is working.

That's who I look up to.

Mic Geronimo and Royal Flush are cool, no disrespect.

I just feel they are greater than the drugs.

Royal Flush's Street Boss edition was one of my favorite projects of 2018.

Bless.

You act like they're drinking everyday.

Geronimo would have got torn into pieces if he tried tussling with Nas in that club,...but it's a cool "it coulda happened, BUT" story 20 years later,. And I don't believe he said that either.:dry:

lets not understate the seriousness of it though. again, I am not saying Nas is to blame but Mic's career was on the line over some shyt that he didnt intentionally do. you see the guilty by association theme all the time. 50 went to war with anyone that did a song or even appeared in a video with Ja. speaking of Mega, remember when they were in QB and cant remember who the other guy was, and he said Nas aint out here and Mega laughed and that further put a strain on his relationship with Nas?

That was Tony Yayo that said it

Great episode. Mics a man of principle and extremely loyal. He said F the industry just because he was afraid he’d have to abandon his man. You don’t see that loyalty much anymore

Never knew Mic was in the streets like that. He never bragged or talked about it on songs

to be fair in hindsight he may have some regret. he didnt see where Irv was going. not that he didnt believe in him as Irv put it but he was stuck in the label deal and he was still bigger than Irv at the time. then Irv hit with X and it was a wrap. even Flush said he (we) shouldve did that. we should have followed that man.

This the song he was referring to when he said Irv started with them and got no traction (pre-Mic Geronimo)

yes, heavy Onyx knockoffs, even had a song where they sampled Onyx. Doh-Doh (the one that most resembles Sticky, lol) produced the entire album except for the last track on the album which was produced by Irv. they had a minor underground hit with Bootlegga and 2nd single and video Murdered Ova Nuttin didnt do anything until the remix dropped and that got some airplay, but was too little too late because the album was already floundering.

Mic Geronimo just didn't have the stomach for the game. There's a lot of BS.

Nore gettin too political tho.
