Bay Area.
I don't troll. That's not my motto and since my inception on sohh in 2002; my forte is quality posting with the occasional banter here and there.

They mentioned on local radio that the week we signed Percy, Wilson was already at the Seahawks training facility working on his game.

As a matter of fact, Russ reached out to Percy that same week to discuss offseason training (sorry i don't have source journal indicating his training regimen times as i mentioned hearing it on my way to work... but this article verifies that the young Seattle QB means business and not about making out with his right bi-cep after making a touchdown).

Percy Harvin, Russell Wilson already have their workouts planned | ProFootballTalk

You patackey ass niner nut huggers.

I can't believe these guys are so dedicated they're going to train together.

I never heard of a QB who trained with a WR in the off-season. The rest of the league should get wind of this and follow suit, brilliant stuff.

I`ll start off with this, you must not be good at math.

Boldin is getting $6m for one year, Goldson is getting $42.5 m for 5 years.

Don't see how that $6m spent on Boldin would have landed Goldson, but your math sure does.

And I do not deny i`m a loser who enjoys pro wrestling, I love it. I`m going to Wrestlemania in 2 weeks and couldn't be happier. So no denial here homeboy, you seem very upset with me though, what is that all about?

well since y'all want to put goldson's contract as your argument,

he signed a 5 year, 41.5 million contract with $22MM guaranteed.

That's a little over $7MM per season for the 1st 3 years, but like Ozzie Newsome accomplished with Dumervil's contract, you can obviously defer some of that cap hit to latter years... so we're talking about ... what, a $1MM variance?

That could easily be addressed by restructuring 1 or 2 contracts with minimal impact.

and quit acting like a victim, you love to be an a$$hole to the contributers of this site when their argument doesn't suit you...

here's an emoticon for you that you oh so love, prick foley ... and i'm not your homeboy

The Yay
duly noted.

but donte whitner is in the secondary... he can't even cover the inbounder on an inbound pass in soccer or in basketball let alone football

but your comment of your entire secondary being unable to cover just reitterates the same questions I had about why Boldin is such a needed position when your secondary is in the state that it's in. 6MM for a position you're supposedly deep at is wasted money and coincidentally came right after the seawhawks nabbed harvin

i'm not sure what the recent track record has been for immediate impact in the secondary from rookies.. but the most recent that comes to mind is claiborne with dallas... how's his comment from the draft looking these days?

"i wanna keep climbin climbin climbin"
whitner is spending his last year in Niners uniform, Im pretty sure.

secondary is comparable to WR in terms of a learning curve, maybe even less of a curve. ideally you want experience but if a guy has good natural instincts he'll get his in man coverage.

I think a point has been made many times on Niners board that the first superbowl win Niners started a rookie tandem of eric wright and ronnie lott.

plus, the CB/S market is pitiful right now. look at this shyt. huff, nnamdi, grimes, CW24 still unemployed.

we needed a WR and despite what harbs said about aj, he isnt ready and may never be. admitting a mistake is never too early and with moss gone and kyle/mario recovering, we needed a decent WR. compared to what mike wallace or harvin got, we are paying boldin peanuts for one year. low risk high reward.
and personally, I think hes a better natural WR in terms of route running and hands than either harvin or wallace, despite perhaps aging.

they couldve franchised goldson, but the FO was respectful and let him get his $. the staff clearly doesnt think hes worth top money and I think theyre very right. before fangios defense and aldon+los, no one wanted goldson

I def aint seen him around this whole time, unless he was somebody else on SOHH. Here's the list of hawks fans on here

Misfit
Nalej

Thats pretty much it. But lots of people jumping on the bandwagon. Don't remember the screen name, but there was a cowboy fan wanting to get aboard a couple months ago, too.

But lets be honest, this is a lastemp vs seattle seahawks hate thread.

Atlanta To New Orleans
Actually I don't. NYG and Seattle are legit threats to beat us.

I think Atlanta is a joke though, they`ve proven that for the last 5 years.

:whoo:

And of course you brought up Atlanta in particular, yet I said nothing about them. I wonder why... :ld:
