Damn.. so the jurors made sure Michael Dunn isnt walking... but by avoiding the murder charge theyre validating his credibility. Cause the verdict stands on the assumption that Jordan Davis may or may not have had a weapon.

All Michael Dunn had to rely on was his word and by extension his character. the latter got assassinated in that interview with his former neighbor.
But somehow his word is still enough to leave a shadow of doubt :stopitslime:

Dude really said "he pulled out a gun or a stick" though :dahell:

This country is fukking crazy.

Thats why i'm not excited, this is a slap in the face:camby:

Argue all you want about how they actually prosecuted the case but they did not overcharge
breh do you know what first degree murder BY LAW
  • First-degree murder is any murder that is willful and premeditated. Felony murder is typically first-degree.
  • Second-degree murder is a murder that is not premeditated or planned in advance.
  • Voluntary manslaughter (often incorrectly referred to as third-degree murder), sometimes called a "Heat of Passion" murder, is any intentional killing that involved no prior intent to kill, and which was committed under such circumstances that would "cause a reasonable person to become emotionally or mentally disturbed." Both this and second-degree murder are committed on the spot, but the two differ in the magnitude of the circumstances surrounding the crime. For example, a bar fight that results in death would ordinarily constitute second-degree murder. If that same bar fight stemmed from a discovery of infidelity, however, it may be mitigated to voluntary manslaughter
By law if I brought 12 people in a room and told them the FACTS of this case could you say without a shadow of a doubt that 12 people would agree that he INTENDED to kill jordan davis. If not then your gonna have that happen period.

Guns kill people. People who use them know this. Dunn knew this. Premeditated Intent to kill can be formed in a instant. That's why most gun deaths are first degree murder charges. And when Dunn pulled that gun from his glove box and pointed it at Davis after his argument what do you think his INTENT was? Is there any reason why one would shoot 10 times into a car full of people if you did NOT intend to kill them? Those were clearly not warning shots.

that's not premeditated. premeditated means you thought out or planned the killing in advanced to doing it. this situation was a random on the spot murder that wasn't planned out.
If you decide to grab a gun and aware that is on safety and you take the safety off and shoot someone that is premeditation. It isn't always you have to think hours or days to kill someone.

There is absolutely no evidence of a Gun. You cant make that assumption without some sort of evidence. Otherwise you may as well say Davis had a rocket launcher or something.. If you don't need evidence then there is no point of having a trial. Dunn's self serving story is not evidence in itself... It needs to be corroborated by something factual or another witness.. His own fiance even countered his version of the story.

the laws are too messed up........it should be if you kill someone, then you get automatic time in prison, no matter what........That would stop a lot of this improper weapon handling that goes on............and make people respect life more than they do now.
Thank God you aren't a law maker
