Can't prove murder but manslaughter should have been the charge IMO

that overcharging gets them every time. It appeases the public but it's not smart from a law standpoint. Shoot for the stars when all you want is your basketball goal, brehs. Let's just be happy he will get jail time. Time to sip some suds in appreciation.

Many and I mean many a murderer have walked free as a bird due to that overcharging. The law should not be about politics and appeasement but about placing the correct charge so we can get the full and proper sentence. Something tells me the sentencing here will be a disappointment. But we shall see.

Anybody upset about what this kat was ultimately charged with, blame whoever's smart idea it was to put First Degree Murder on the docket. It sounds good but it's just not smart. Look up the actual definition for First Degree Murder. Usually varies by state. If it can actually be proven in full(remember beyond a shadow of a doubt?) then bring it to the table. Otherwise you are gambling the trial. The DAs do this stuff on purpose to make a name for themselves. Gambling with folks lives and then people have the audacity to want to jump on the jury. Folks need to learn how the law works and get their emotions off their sleeves.

It's a way to build their name up man. Go back and tell folks I got first degree murder on this this and that trial but the jury did this this and that knowing good and well from the jump it couldn't be proven. It's a political statement and folks eat it up.
