Michael Irvin thinks Michael Vick is stupid.

He outplayed foles to win the job. But If I'm foles, I know eventually I'll be the starter. Like on the play irvin was talking about I thought the exact same thing. He could barely get up, even though the eagles O-line is healthy opposing defenses will play him the same. Keep hitting him until he breaks.

I think to be a success in chip's offense, there has to be a threat of an explosive play & the ability to run which is why vick won the job But when you're getting hit & fumbling and making poor throws then its bad. I don't mind the int's because they happen but the injuries from not going down & fumbling can't happen.

Regardless of what CK says, vick is on a very short leash. 2 or 3 "2012 VICK games" he will be benched.

This about summarizes it. Vick might be one of the most physically talented Quarterbacks in league HISTORY but there's atleast ten Quarterbacks in the current NFL I'd take over a 100% healthy Vick

That doesn't really matter. The problem with Vick is that he doesn't know to to protect himself. When he gets tackled he doesn't know how to avoid big blows. He doesn't know how to slide and he doesn't know when to go down.

This. It used to amaze the hits Jeff would take and still play, that game when he was with the Bucs and he got hit in the face and was spitting blood while still qbing was hardcore. Abilities aside, you can't ever say Garcia didn't play through the pain. It is amazing how someone like Garcia can take it and someone like Vick more or less can't, I give Vick props he tried to play with busted ribs so I wouln't say he's fragile but he really isn't built for hits. He defintely seems to have a 3 hit limit per season.

Mike is not paid to provide thoughtful, eloquent analysis. He's paid to be talk like he's in the locker room and toss in an occasional shuck and jive when needed. Vick's problem is that he has yet to learn how to protect himself, he's injury prone, and frankly he's just a little unlucky as well. At this point it just is what it is. He's gonna get hurt at some point this season and he's not gonna give you 16 games.
