The record book will say.
Lebron James - 4 NBA rings*

*A watered down league, bubble chip, Never beat a truly great team to win a title.

That's what it will say. Magic, Bird, and Jordan can all say they beat some
truly great teams in their prime. Lebron CAN NOT say that.

*Jordan got his rings in the 90's by beating the toughest teams that had Ewing, Barkley, Thomas, etc.
*Larry got his rings by beating possibly the greatest team of all time. The '86
Lakers with Magic, Kareem, Worthy, Cooper, etc.
*Magic got his rings by beating possibly the greatest team of all time. The
'85, 87, and '88 Celtics with possibly the best frontline ever of Bird, McHale,
and Parish.

And don't give me that crap about Lebron beating the 73 win Warriors. Draymond was
gone (a game). Iguodala was a bench warmer by then and Steph was before his prime while Bron was in his prime.
Don't get me wrong, Lebron is great and winning 4
titles is quite an accomplishment but if you look at the teams he beat to get
there it's not as impressive. I'll take Jordan's six rings against some of the
best teams ever over Lebron's four against much weaker teams in a watered down
league anyday.

That '99 thread is evidence for nikkas who deny the existence of Jordan Propaganda, that it truly exists...

The last 20-30 years have been a constant reminder from anywhere you turn, that you should believe Michael Jordan is the GOAT, because they say so. "They" being Jordan's numerous business partners and media platforms, who funneled the message of Mike as GOAT to every single consumer of basketball...

People willfully choose to ignore the
blatant narrative steering by Mike & Friends, and as I've always said: obviously, Mike has a strong supporting case as the greatest player ever. He was the greatest player of his era...

But he didn't play against great players and teams who were not of his generation, so it's impossible to definitively say he's the GOAT. Your opinion that Mike is GOAT is still an OPINION. It isn't able to be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt; no one can...

He had flaws in his game and career like everyone else, and we rank players based on what we value most...

He has the majority public support now and for both the last three decades abd foreseeable future, because no athlete in American sports history had the media in his pocket the way Jordan did. He ain't the GOAT because you Mike nikkas say so, and Mike nikkas struggle to even make reasonable cases for him when it isn't even difficult to do 🤣 ...

The Internet made a lot of people incapable of appreciation.

Nah, it just exposed us to the reality that a majority of people have absolutely uninformed and garbage opinions. People were always unappreciative.
No, both of you are wrong

It shows that everyone has opinions, and when watching a competitive activity like basketball, people naturally compare and rank the participants.

You guys are full of shyt, acting like yall don't compare and rank players yourselves.

I just chuckle at people trying to discredit the bulls due to the "expansion era" but never discredit the warriors who benefited from the "trust the process" era where teams for half the decade were tanking purposely to get a high draft pick and the act was so egregious Adam silver had to change the draft rules to prevent tanking. Year warriors went 73-9 many teams were tanking for Simmons and Ingram or "not winnin for Simmons, and "stinkin for ingram" where is that 73-9 asterisk?
