Or an earlier point in a larger trend.Link? This is great shyt!
As you said more things change, the more they stay the same...
I just chuckle at people trying to discredit the bulls due to the "expansion era" but never discredit the warriors who benefited from the "trust the process" era where teams for half the decade were tanking purposely to get a high draft pick and the act was so egregious Adam silver had to change the draft rules to prevent tanking. Year warriors went 73-9 many teams were tanking for Simmons and Ingram or "not winnin for Simmons, and "stinkin for ingram" where is that 73-9 asterisk?
Or did it just give them the ability to spread their bs farther. Before, Bilo the racist Albanian construction worker could only make his "Bird is better than Jordan, and Jordan's rings are fraudulent" argument to his fellow employees and family members. Now Bilo can hop online and thousands of people can see his shyt within minutes. The Internet made a lot of people incapable of appreciation.
There were only like 2 teams that were flagrantly tanking in the 15-16 seasonI just chuckle at people trying to discredit the bulls due to the "expansion era" but never discredit the warriors who benefited from the "trust the process" era where teams for half the decade were tanking purposely to get a high draft pick and the act was so egregious Adam silver had to change the draft rules to prevent tanking. League added 6 teams in 8 years breh. Each draft cost every team a rotation player. For a 12 man roster, especially considering the league was more top-heavy back then, losing roster slots in back to back years and filling the holes with garbage was a big loss.No I'm acting like it was only 2-3ish expansion teams. So if the argument is that the Bulls dominated in a era of expansion teams who were horrible then we can also point out that many teams benefited from the tanking era. Bad teams are bad teams regardless of why. Every era had bad teams for whatever reason. Trying to single out the bulls benefiting from bad teams is foul considering great teams deal with bad teams for whatever reason.
Only one team, 76ers, were tanking that year. The Warriors play them just 2 times per years. 2 wins out of 73. What's the excuse for the other 71 wins?I just chuckle at people trying to discredit the bulls due to the "expansion era" but never discredit the warriors who benefited from the "trust the process" era where teams for half the decade were tanking purposely to get a high draft pick and the act was so egregious Adam silver had to change the draft rules to prevent tanking.
