We don't know how MJ would have played had he had a Shaq on his team. I think MJ would have adjusted to his skill set being that he played in College and knew how to play team ball.

I dont think MJ would ever let someone else be the focal point of the offense lets be real. Even if it was shaq and when he had those massive advantages over the big men in the 00's, especially in the finals

:heh:

:laff:

You gonna tell someone used to putting up 24-27 shots in his prime to sublimate his game to Shaq?! :mjpls:

FOH.

People always want to kill Kobe for taking so many shots when MJ would've done the same thing if he was on a team with Shaq, efficiency disadvantage be damned.

I agree fully with Wilt. Shaq belongs right up there with Wilt and Lebron as far as athletic freaks in the league. It was just ridiculous all that he could do at his size, especially during his early years in the league. I think if he stayed around that size and didn't become obsessed with adding so much muscle he would've been even more dominant.

His quickness was definitely underrated though.

:stopitslime: WHAT OFFENSIVE JUGGERNAUT SHOULD HAVE BEEN GETTING THOSE SHOTS MJ WAS TAKING?

No one should've been getting those shots. Even when he did have a good team he was still around 22 shots a game. I don't think he would be fine with scoring 23-25 points a game in his prime.

MIKE WOULD HAVE AVERAGED NEAR 30 ON 18 SHOTS PLAYING WITH SHAQ LIKE BRON WITH WADE....
YOU FORGET KOBE GOT TO PLAY ONE ON ONE BALL CUZ OF SHAQS DOUBLE TEAM...
IMAGINE A PRIME MIKE THAT NEVER SAW DOUBLES.
EFFICIENCY WOULD BE OFF THE CHARTS.

There's still going to be conflict.

Its not only the amount of shots but the situations they are taken in. Imagine MJ out on the perimeter ready to strike at some scrub and :shaq: is sitting in the middle like "Give me the ball or I'm not getting back on D. Gotta feed the dog Q-Dog".

MJ would've been like :mjpls: "You get the ball when I let you."

MJ instead attacks, makes the shot but homeboy is looking at you like :shaq2:. MJ never was in that situation and LeBron never has been either so you really can't say how either of them would behave in that type of offense.

While the Kobe-Shaq era was wildly successful, I just don't think any scorer lasts with prime Shaq for a long time. For a span of about 5 years, sure. But anything longer...

MJ would never hog as much as Kobe did in the Finals vs. the Pistons....MJ and Shaq would have lasted. :ANYWORD:

That's possible. But to say they would've lasted or that they wouldn't have any off court problems either...that's stretching it.

Yall act like MJ would sit back as a #2 option and chill. He never at any point in his career had to do that or showed he would be capable of it. Period.

Great teamwork, sure. Good passing, sure, averaged 8 apg at one point. But drop his game to accommodate Shaq? :heh:

Nah.

:what: you must be white to say shyt this stupid about basketball

Wilt was Andrew Bynum status as an athlete. I don't wanna hear his name again. Russell was 6'9" 210 lbs. Kareem couldn't jump. Dr. J couldn't get his head at the rim. He only looked like a sick athlete cause barely anyone could dunk in the 70s.

GOAT athletes in the NBA are LeBron and Shaq. No one else is even in their stratosphere. After them you got cats like MJ, Tracy McGrady, Vince, etc.

You need to shut the fukk up bruh
