I could definitely see Chicago's talent eventually winning out. But Hakeem, the Rockets defense, Clyde and all those shooters (Cassell, Kenny, Mad Max, Horry) would've made it tough though. MJ and Hakeem probably would've canceled each other out.

Seeing MJ go against Mad Max in the Finals would've been great. LMAO Vernon Maxwell stayed trying to fight Michael Jordan

If anybody's team could've beat The Bulls back then......I would put it all on my money on the line for the GOAT Center, Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon:blessed:

He's probably the only Center that is legitimately a Top 5 Offensive Center Of All-Time AND a Top 5 Defensive Center Of All-Time:wow:

And they say Wade had the best finals performance ever agains the Mavs in 06. :heh:

Eh Wade did single handedly bring his team back from 0-2 deficit to win a title. If it ain't the best it's definitely on the short list

41.0 PPG 8.5 Rebounds 6.3 assists per game. :merchant:

We have to stop comparing anyone to him, it just isn't fair to anyone.

thank you breh, this series here is why I get so upset about how disrespectful people are with the Lebron and even Kobe stuff. NO ONE was like this dude. He was the created player. Phoneix really had the better team but Jordan just said....NO

"I'm winning anyway, I can't lose" :myman:

ESPN wants me to forget all that unreal Greatness I witness, like it never happened. It did happen and I haven't forgot

lol these fukkboys saying that suns team wasn't shyt... they were the highest scoring team in the league in 93, had the MVP :mjpls: and won 62 games, most in the league.

barkley averaged 27, 13 and 5 in the finals, and the suns had 4 players average 15+ ppg in the finals, the bulls only had 2.

this revisionist history doesn't fly with me. I remember that SUNs team and they were no joke. Thunder Dan even hit 9 3pointers in one of those games & the Bulls still won the series. That's how great MJ was. :whew:

Dudes in here trying to act like Barkely wasn't balling...that entire team was unreal. Jordan was just too great...he was that good. I'll never forget. :smugfavre:

One of my favorite Finals of all time, Jordan and Barkley both put on great performances, Scottie played great too...

I never wanted anyone to win a series as bad as I wanted the Suns to win that one.

I still see that Horace Grant block on KJ from Game 6 in my dreams sometimes.

That Suns team was absolutely a great team when they were hitting on all cylinders, but they were so lacking in focus for long stretches that it was maddening. Barkley was my favorite player so I kept a close eye on that team, and they overwhelmed the league on sheer talent. seriously, the amount of firepower and versatility on that squad was absurd. But they needed more than just a few dubious calls to beat that weak ass Lakers team and then the Sonics. Phoenix got so many calls in that game 7 vs. Seattle that I felt weird even though my favorite player won.

That being said... Barkley was going hard as fukk against the Bulls, and KJ did have some relatively effective stretches D'ing MJ, but the Suns point blank choked away game 6. Not sayong they would've had a 50-50 shot in game 7, but they damn sure should've played a game 7.

If you were a fan of any other great player during that era, MJ was infuriatingly great. I don't understand why people even bother making arguments that current players are equal to that man. And I say that as someone who finds MJ loathesome.

How do you think Ceballos would've changed the dynamic of that series?

Pippen hated guarding him because it took him out of his element.Pip liked to press dudes on the perimeter, but Ceballos used to like to rove around the lane and sneak into the paint.Ceballos might be the best I've ever seen at moving without the ball.He was real slippery around the key and Barkley was great at finding him

that Suns team had a magic about them.

They'd just gotten the sick new jerseys and a new logo, signed Barkley, alot of ppl thought they had the best chance to win out of al the Bulls 3-peat.

aint the same league.. JORDAN was like a grown up among kids...

specially in his prime years...

you want more eye popping numbers... check Wilt..

50.4 PPG and 25.REB PG

you have to adjust your mind to today....
..when teams are filled with high caliber players.. and just cause you were good in college, you might not be physicaly built for the nba.. and i dont mean HEIGHT...
and just cuz you werent drafted... you just might BE physicaly made for the nba....and get a small role...

Yo do you remember the year they played them - and everyone was healthy - Keem, Barlkley, Drexler - on point Matt Maloney...they, had MJ, Pippen and Rodman on deck...the bulls got destroyed in Houston, my brother was so sick...i told him to! But they never made it out of the Utah series in the playoffs- John Stockton hit that three! Those rockets were a bad match-up for those bulls! Yo Hakeem the gawd! real talk! No answer for that man!
