It should be, but unfortunately, they're stuck with this Murray, MPJ, Gordon, and Jokic, Core 4 for at least 2-3 more years due to their not-so-flexible contracts.

The only tradeable contract of the 4 is Gordon but I doubt they trade him. Maybe Murray, but I don't know; as fans, we see Murray as a touchable asset, but I feel the Nuggets front office views him as untouchable along with Joker.

As mentioned in my quote above it's gonna be hard to do so because of the best 4 players contracts not being soo flexible.

The only moveable one is Gordon, but he's proven to be vital, and I don't see Denver cutting ties with Murray; I feel like they respect him that much where he's considered untouchable in the same vein as Jokic.

MPJ stock went down badly this season, so he won't be touchable until it's close to expiring. We can expect to see the core 4 guys in a Nuggets jersey for the next few years.
