So when the 5 year $170M extension was brought forth, the Nuggets had to know he was having problems, right?

That’s what I was about to ask. I would assume that they didn’t or else they would have held him out earlier until he was right to protect their investment. Even then, it’s been obvious that something wasn’t right with him even before that particular play.

It was smooth sailing until that Rockets game a couple weeks ago. That's when he re-aggravated it. If my memory serves me correctly, he had no issues prior to that last season. He got through the playoffs unscathed as well.

Nahhhhh he wasn’t right before then and the Rockets game only made it worse. His shot has been off all season long and he hasn’t been moving right like he usually does.

He was fine, well, as fine as he could be.

He was in a shooting slump, and struggled to handle a greater offensive load with more defensive attention. He was playing 35+ minute games. You're only saying that because you expected too much of him, and he didn't deliver.

It’s not just me saying that though. Even Austin Rivers in that article mentioned that he’s been injured all season long. The question is whether it was before or after the contract extension.

His own teammates said he was playing through injury the entire season :camby:
