It still doesn't change the premise that other teams can offer better trade packages than what GS can be. GS fans are constantly whining and complaining about not wanting Wiseman, yet thinks that he is good enough to be packaged for a bigger star

There have been better big man drafted after Wiseman that are and will be wayyyy better than him as a player. Hell, Chet and Paolo will better big men coming into the league than Wiseman. Wiseman just isn't that good and anyone who watched him during his time in high school and Memphis could have told you that.

Why would they rebuild when Murray is eventually coming back and they have him and Gordon locked up long term? MPJ being out is a blow to the team, but their player development has been on point for years to have faith that they'll figure it out. Time and youth are on their side compared to the majority of other cores around the league.

Jokic got 2 yrs left on his contract too… If I’m GS I’m in the line right now and adding a 3rd team… Jokic and Wigs contract are the same, I add Wigs, Weisman, and Kuminga and a few picks to get Jokic on GS… That’s a guaranteed chip this year

You can only get the supermax from the team that drafted you. He'd be better off taking the supermax and then forcing his way out after. Although, it's hypocritical for me to say that when we are complaining about Simmons doing the exact same thing.

It really is, which is why I don't get why they rushed to give it to him in the first place. I would have let him test the market and then matched whatever offer he got. I'm guessing that physicals aren't requirements of contract extensions or else they would have likely noticed something was up beforehand.
