Beadle can be real ultra militant sometimes and the sugar comment wasn't that big of a deal but the sugar comment was a little sexist when your in your referring to a reporter. Its almost like a white guy calling a black reporter "Boy" or a latin dude "Papi".
So what should i do the next time a waitress calls me sugar, honey, sweetie or in a group setting boys?

Its different in the workplace because the term sugar, baby, or a couple of other things are inappropiate to say to someone in a professional environment. Its has a dismissive tone to it thats in line with many of the expressions that women have usually receive in work environments where there not respected. I ain't saying its the most serious offense in the world but he fukked up on that one.

I was a direct response to the dismissive and disrespectful way she referred to KD's career threatening injuries. When you are disrespectful you can't play the respect card or have it played on your behalf. If she had kept it sports and made some sort of in bounds point then it would be one thing but she clearly went out of bounds but let me guess that's okay because she's a female right?

My Pops Forever RIP
I like Zach Lowe, but I was listening to him talk about the Players Awards on his podcast and he was talking about the award "Guy You'd Most Like To Have On Your Team." The candidates were the elite guys, Curry, Lebron etc. And he said 'I think the players got this one wrong, when I think of guys players want on their team, I think of guys like Mike Dunleavy, Draymond Green, guys that are annoying to the other team.'

So basically, he was saying that he thinks the players were wrong about what guy they would like to have on their team...like who the hell are you, a short basketball nerd who doesn't play, to tell them who they should want on their team? Like I said I like the guy but it seems like these cac journalists feel threatened by the Players Awards because it recognizes that their opinions aren't important like they think they are.

I see people in here saying these journalists have an inflated sense of self-worth when it comes to their role and I would have to agree. These guys think their opinions should be the only ones that matter because the truth is they don't have much else to offer.
Breh it was a dumbass category. A lot of that shyt a) didn't make sense and b) for an award show made by the players will be forgotten rather quickly.

Just because the intent of the show can be defended doesn't mean the execution of it can.

But she's very disrespectful so her getting offended is a joke.

If she had called KD a "Homie" in a sarcastic tone I could see how the two things are equal. Ain't no one defending her tho, I'm just saying that its not inaccurate to say that Marcellus' comment is kinda sexist.

It's not about equality. It's about respect. You can't behave in a disrespectful manner and then expect others to be respectful. His comments could only be sexist if he was belittling some legit commentary or reporting on her part. He was belittling her opinion on something that she didn't know shyt about to be addressing in such a flippant way. It's like a male reporter saying "you need to worry about avoiding those cramps this month" in response to the complaint of a female athlete. If a woman responded to a guy saying some shyt like that in a similar manner, no one would see an issue. I see women in media refer to dudes with pet names all the time.

It's like in the First Take thread when SAS said to Cari "Help me out girl!" and she responded with "Woman", yet she always called SAS & Skip her boys or would shout it when they would go into their arguments.
