It's not about equality. It's about respect. You can't behave in a disrespectful manner and then expect others to be respectful. His comments could only be sexist if he was belittling some legit commentary or reporting on her part. He was belittling her opinion on something that she didn't know shyt about to be addressing in such a flippant way.
