New minority comic book characters are made all the time. There is no "laziness" at all. It's just that none of those characters are getting a damn movie any time soon. Disney bought Marvel to make movies about famous Marvel characters, not to give some obscure one a chance just because they're a minority. That's why changing the race is necessary.

Funny thing is that this such a Marvel-centric debate because WB and Fox are already raceswapping left and right. Marvel better get with the times
right, because we all knew about Guardians of the Galaxy before it came out huh?

there's nothing stopping them from doing a black panther, jon stewart/green lantern, static shock movie. or we could even write something ourselves, and create a new character. but of course hollywood isn't tryna fund a movie with a black main character unless it's related to slavery or civil rights

As long as these characters are created under the umbrellas of White companies what does it matter? Blacks still have no control over it and dont build wealth. They can make a movie with a Black Tranny Superhero and blacks could be pissed and white media will say we are homophobic and be like "well you guys wanted a black hero, whats the problem? :troll:"
100. You get it. It's just appeasement for black people and doesn't really do much at the end of the day.

thats how it needs to be i wish spike would get off his ass and get something like this together with a bunch of stars. im not a big tyler perry fan but he's another one i guess. the problem is when some of them get the mainstream exposure black majority cast movies are beneath them...idk if thats what happened to Chris.:yeshrug:

Get off his ass? He's done more or at least tried to do more than any other black film maker has He pushed for an all black film crews for black movies, he's pushed for black journalist to do interviews for black figures. He basically already did all of what you refer to in your post when he made Malcolm X (pulled the black entertainment community together to get the movie made)..

If anything it's the other black producers/directors who came after him that need to get off their asses and do what he's already attempted to do. He opened the door for all those negroes and fought for them when no one else would and how do they repay him? By trying to put him in check when he makes a comment against Tarantino's movies...

i'm not downplaying the work he put in, he's probably my favorite director im basically saying if anyone is going to do something it needs to be him, he hasn't been making big budget movies lately might be a funding issue i know he's using crowdfunding..but he's working.

1st Blacks aren't and haven't been "Stealing" anything. Black people NEVER called for or asked for Johnny Blaze or Kingpin or Nick Fury to be Black. Black people did not make those decisions. White and Jewish hollywood execs did cause they know reality that they aren't pushing Black Comic Heroes to be made into movies. It's actually white people's fault this is even happening. Black people have NEVER campaigned to have a character's race changed. The closes was Spiderman and even then nobody is saying make Peter Parker black but use the Black character. So this idea that Black people are running around protesting and begging for White Characters to be changed black is B.S. Next Blacks have been calling for OUR characters to get shine FOR YEARS and Hollywood would not make those movies. They rather do "Ant Man" then "Black Panther" which was pushed back again after Wesley been trying to get that made since the 90's. Third, she said, "Make up your own". Ah we did that too:

These are all Black Super Hero movies made up with no comic book history or origin but I guess Michelle didn't know that. We had The Blade Trilogy but Hollywood messed it up by making Blade a SIDEKICK in his own movie (Blade Trinity). "Spawn" was dope as hell but it never got a sequel. Michelle is clearly in her own hollywood bubble but it's sad cause she's a "Minority" too in America's eyes. So what she said makes zero sense. Blacks aren't making White Superheros Black. White and Jewish Execs are cause they know Superhero's diversity is next to nothing.

Also Michelle needs an American history lesson. The reason 99% of Superheros are white is cause we lived in a White Supremacy society. These are Fictional Characters. Considering that Whites have Whitewashed REAL people and had them played by white people, not to mention Fictional Characters that weren't white played by whites (Dragon Ball, Last Airbender, Prince of Persia) her comments are ignorant and stupid. The fact anyone is agreeing with her lacks history and context. Also Stan Lee created a lot of the characters, if he doesn't have a problem, they are his creations.

you misinterpreted. i'm not downplaying the work he put in, he's probably my favorite director but he's been quiet for the last decade besides inside man. might be a funding issue i know he's using crowdfunding now:yeshrug: but i see him at a lot of knick games.

I got what you said. You said he should put in more effort in getting black hollywood types together and building something with them. I'm saying.. he's already done that but also alot of these negroes in hollywood today don't really appreciate him like that and the proof can be seen/heard in how they react to certain things... like his opinion on Django Unchained. Look at how many black producers/directors/actors came lashing out at him or tried to check him.... instead of simply respecting his opinion as someone who fought and opened the door for them to make movies.... they ran to defend Quentin Tarantino.

Another thing... Spike Lee isn't the only skilled black director. You have guys like Carl Franklin and Charles Burnett who put out great movies but struggle to get funding these days. But you also have.... Antoine Fuqua who is fresh off of 2 hit movies (THe Equalizer, Olympus Has Fallen) Tim Story has had a small string of hits recently (Think Like A Man, Too, Ride Along). Lee Daniels, Tyler Perry, etc. All successful all could be getting off their asses and pulling together to build something within Hollywood...
