All the shots my kids got had warning labels and 1 in so many kids will experience yadda ya verbage...

A parent has a good reason to be concerned.

You care about your kids becoming a statistic to a lesser degree then this mother. Still doesnt mean she needs to be jailed
She's only jailed because she didn't meet an agreement she made in court. That's worth noting.

"Seem" is the key word. Have you actually interviewed these kids and their parents?:francis:

If you're referring to the MMR vaccine, do any kids have measles, mumps, or rubella? (Have you seen any cases of these?) If your answer is no, then the shots did their job. They're not designed to prevent every disease.

I've been vaccinated all my life and I rarely if ever get sick. :kanyebp:

I do get "work sick" for time off, though :hamster:
[/QUOTE]
I've spoken with them...

Plus where I live, you get inteviewd before you can get waivers... And I asked the man (Counselor/doctor) has he noticed any extra vulnerability he said no.

Plus its just a cacual observation that the so called Anti vac parents (as you all put it ) tend to be from social or religious groups, business owners, more active and hardly any are broke- as compared with the gen pop who goes with the flow of whatever the gov says.

There may be a small percent that researched and decided to get them, but usually they say....thats just what we're supposed to do.

Plus the shots "doing their job" because I don't see illness is debatable, but the point is The Unknown and Known ill effects of the shots

But the thread is operating under the unspoken pretense of "fukk her she didnt vaccinate she deserves to be in jail anyway."..

And her being generally dumb for being to cautious with kids health in regards to vaccines because the ktl intellegencia says nothing bad could possibly happen.

There's no utilitarian argument you can make against vaccinating your children with the current run of vaccines children are expected to get.

You can't seriously make a concern based argument for not getting your child vaccinated because the things they are being vaccinated against are more likely and more deadly than the vaccines themselves if we don't vaccinate our children.

And the other argument being made of look at me I'm fine works both ways so I'm not sure why it's even being used.

You
Can't be serious

I have 5 children no vaccinations

Never been sick. All healthy
I have 3 children 2 whom I won't vaccinate. Do they give you a hard time trying to put your kids in public school if they aren't vaccinated.

Only 2 are in public.... 3 in private.

But no, its easy to get a waiver... You have to take bs class and some info about why vaccines are great first

The argument you can make is these kids got fukked up and i dont want my kids to get fukt up therefore i will not. Not against shots but i understand why a mother would be. Someone who doesnt understand probably diesnt have kids or takes a drs word like it came from God

Meanwhile 200k americans dead a year from bad dr advice :manny: i understand a mothers concern

This is another stupid argument. I am an adult. I have gotten vaccinations for myself whether due to taking vacations to at risk areas or for things like Hep B. Your argument is lazy. The decisions I make for my own personal safety require the same deliberation as those you would make for your children.

By your logic, if a doctor doesn't have children they are unable to give you accurate advise on how to treat your children's medical condition. :martin:

Most disingenuous talking points:

Story at-a-glance
  • CDC reports that no one in the US has died of measles in the last 12 years. Meanwhile, 98 measles vaccine related deaths were reported to the US government since 2003.
  • During that time period, 694 measles vaccine-related disabilities were reported to the Vaccine Adverse Reporting System (VAERS).
  • Child mortality due to measles is 200 to 400 times greater in malnourished children in less developed countries than those in developed ones; as nutrition improves, complications and deaths radically diminish.

Tone down the emotional language. U sound triggered...

A dr works on stats. 1 in 10000 kids having a bad reaction isnt a big deal, which is logical but to a mother its a risk she may not want to jump into.

When you actually have kids, load them up with every shot the dr reccomends day 1, witness your childs reaction with the shrill crying, low energy, slow and jerky reactions and maybe on the next go round ull think, mmmmmm, maybe i should only do 1 next time :patrice:

This is probably as close as u can get to understanding a concerned mothers logic.

If there are Drs that wont give their kids vaccines, not understanding why a mother would not is insensitive and ignorant of reality.

You're the one being emotional. Your entire argument is premised on "concerned mother" and "if you had kids." You're dismissing statistics and all facts that show otherwise to appease your own emotions.

They are your kids. You get to make those decisions. When you want to bring your kids around other people's kids you need to take those other parents and their children into consideration which you clearly are not. Personal responsibility is a two way street, :comeon:
