You didn't finish reading the sentence. Some of the stuff is going to go over the average movie goer's headBruh, this movie wasn’t even that deep. It’s basically copy and paste formula for “evil politicians don’t know shyt and are fukkin dumb.”
It just didn’t hit with the general audience. Not enough Sci-fi nor enough comedy. Aside from my crew, no one was laughing much. I was laughing with the severed hand passing the window and everyone in the audience was quiet.
Like I said, it’s not that deep, man. People don’t go into a movie to learn something. They go to be entertained. This movie was average at best. Something I’m not gonna watch again. You didn't finish reading the sentence. Some of the stuff is going to go over the average movie goer's head
I bet if you take the average movie goer to watch this movie they would not pick up on the references and nuances.Like I said, it’s not that deep, man. People don’t go into a movie to learn something. They go to be entertained. This movie was average at best. Something I’m not gonna watch again.

Of course the movie is not that deep to a reasonably intelligent person

They highlight how little care they have when reprinting Mickey. Off the top of my head there's a scene where Mickey almost prints out onto the floor because they weren't really supervising it, one of them had headphones on playing on a phone I believe and the other scene where a cable gets accidently unplugged as the printing process is going.
The way I interpreted it while watching was that some sort of corruption during the printing/uploading process took place as well as "two sides of a coin," it brought out a suppressed version of Mickey that always existed within him.
This is why I hate exposition.during mickey’s narration he mentions how naomi told him one mickey was annoying while another was too clingy. although i think 18 was too different…he seemed like a completely different character which threw me off.
I actually didn't hate this movie. Like I see what they were doing for. I actually think had they leaned harder into the comedy it would have made for a better movie. I actually think Pattinson's acting elevated it.
