Did you even read my post. It's still the second biggest market or maybe 3rd if you only count home consoles.

Also Japanese games are very popular in Europe especially france so just quitting in Japan also limits your sales in Europe. Asia and the middle East also play alot of Japanese games. Unless MS only cares about the US they need to maintain some semblance of Japanese support. Even in the US their is a pretty good market for niche Japanese games.

This is the crux of the problem. If MS just say "fukk Japan" then more and more of these JRPGs are going to be Sony only.

Did you read my post? Their sales there are negligible. The Xbox 360 a console that has sold 83+ million world wide has a lifetime sales number in Japan of well under 2 million and it's closer to 1.5 million.

If you add up all the sales of all the Xbox consoles you're looking at what (Xbox 21+Xbox 360 80+ Xbox 1 let's say 12) 113 million total consoles sold. The Xbox sold half a million in Japan, the 360 about 1.5 and the Xbox One isn't even at a quarter million. You're still talking about 2 million out of 113 million consoles. That's negligible. It's not worth their investment. They don't really get niche Japanese titles anyways. I should know those are most of the games I play.

No it'll be the same it is now. The JRPGs that are big in the west( Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts) will still come to the Xbox One to target western buyers and the ones that have a niche following (Disgaea for example) won't even bother.
