Microsoft considering returning back to Xbox exclusives

Seems obvious Activision Blizzard games should be separated from Xbox Studios games and not be exclusive while Xbox Studios games should be. Activision Blizzard should be ran separately from Xbox and Xbox Studios from non-inclusion to Game Pass as a default to eveything else.

The Xbox game studios don’t want to be exclusive though, there’s not a big enough market share without the big dogs like COD and possibly elder scrolls holding down the fort to make them profitable on their own.
Like, if they get to a point where they’re relying on gears and halo remakes to sell consoles again they’re screwed no matter what
The only real system seller they have outside of those two big acquisitions is Forza horizon
If I’m an Xbox studios game like fable I’m gonna be questioning why I’m exclusive to a platform that encourages people to not buy my game

Then having their own platform is pointless. They either commit to making their platform worthwhile or abandon it. If they give all their games to the competition then there isn't a reason to buy their platform.
They can't have it both ways. Game Pass isn't a big enough draw to maintain a platform most people don't want or need.
