Its the swot marketing analysis that has them saying crazy things... If you are more expensive then competition there has to be a belief that your product is worth more or your catering to a more upscale market

The more i think about it ms might gimp themselves with being 100 more but their goal may be to be more profitable but then again they are including kinect so not sure they would have a margin advantage....somebody crunched the numbers for them i wonder what their estimates are

They aren't doing a good job of explaining the value . They need to release a bunch of ads showing how useful a Xbox could be to a family's entertainment experience ., you guys don't realize that not every consumer is educated about this type of stuff . They'll look and see a higher price point , see the ps4 and say hey Sony is a good brand .
