I think with the headsets, somebody realized what helped make gold better than PSN in the beginning stages was that everybody had a headset. I dont know they even thought about not having one in the box (of course I know they just wanted more money)

With taking the kinect being plugging in requirement away, I think it was more of the what happens if it breaks, or malfunctions? and also the privacy concerns. I dont think it had anything to do with preorder #s

I know people like to point to amazon numbers, but you could preorder the X1 from your 360, also I wonder how many of those numbers will actually go thru on amazon, since you dont need anymoney to preorder.

I kind of agree with what you are saying. It was the 'one' of the biggest reasons why i would not touch the xbox. I said 'one' because at the time there was the used games, region lock, and price. They pretty much changed all of that.

To make my point. Even with all the good changes, it still left a sour taste in peoples mouth. The audacity of them to have such restrictive features really put people off (including me) The implementation of the it was frankly unnecessary. They just seemed arrogant and so naive about it. Like yea 'you going to take it bytch, all these thing you don't like and if you it does not suit you buy a 360 dummy Don Mattrick really fukked them.

If you took a step back and think about it though they could have owned this gen, with the all digital games they were pushing. I mean that is where we are headed (digital only games) but unfortunately they fumbled so fukking hard . They had Sony beat, but man the restrictions and some of the PR really did them in.

It's not about the people who was not going to buy it in the first place. It was about the bad publicity that influences the fence sitters. Most people who buy these consoles do not know anything about what we argue about far as specs go etc. But they do listen to the news about NSA etc. So this move is to appease them.

The weak preorders are fact though. You see the numbers VG Chartz collected. And EVERY major online website had polls where the PS4 was winning over 70 percent of the votes. There's not that much conspiracy in the world.

I know I joke and on here for comedy, but that shyt is real.

And all MS has to do is look in the mirror to see who's to blame. Even if they didn't backpedal on anything, who's bright idea was it to limit the single player experience of a game if you lost internet connectivity? The rest of the shyt they had wasn't THAT bad IMO, but that was completely unacceptable.

People have spoken, MS is reversing course, but the damage has been done. Not saying they can't recover somewhat, but any chance of beating Sony this upcoming gen is out the window. Thankfully, Nintendo is in such a fukked up spot that MS should have no problem securing 2nd place.

You'll probably disagree with that I just wrote and I don't care, but it's the truth. No way in hell is MS beating Sony this gen worldwide and they lost North America too with their fukkery.
