Seems weird to jack up the price.
The units aren't moving, and you're not making money on them. You already incurred the cost to manufacture the product, so that cannot be recouped. I get tariffs and shyt, but sometimes you just gotta eat that cost.
Example - Jane makes many batches of weed brownies that cost $500 total between the flour, chocolate, weed, sugar etc. She wants to sell the brownies but no one is buying. Dope boy charges more for his weed, so now it costs her $550 to make the same number of batches.
Instead of reducing the price, she doubles the price and changes nothing else. The weed brownies sit there. What is the goal? Why even sell it if you're not going to charge a price that actually gets the product to move? No one bought it before the dope boy upcharge....so why would they buy it now when you pass the cost on to them?
