from start to finish? Doesn't your computer have that start up screen where it allows you to go in the bios? then it detects the drives then starts loading windows? or is that just H/W ....My surface books gets to the PW screen in 5 seconds (give or take a second)from pressing power

Im rocking an i7 with a GTX 980, 16 gig ram, and an SSD and my boot up time from cold start to ready to go is about 10-15 seconds. So i'm sure Ciggavelli is being accurate.

My i5 surface Pro 4 is about 5 seconds.
