If 1000% extra power overall took us from killzone 3 to killzone 4. 50% extra gpu power and a weaker CPU won't show much real world difference. That's undeniable and you don't need to be an engineer to understand it.
And once agian power gap of not if they saw a way to improve their system they would do it. It's happened every console generation. What's differ at this time around is that websites report on every little thing like its new groundbreaking information. In the past, most of this stuff would have gone unreported.
