Just watched this creepy ass film last night and went to Reddit to read some discussions about it and holy shyt! A LOT of people seem to think that Christian (Dani's boyfriend) is the main villain of the film and are happy he was burned alive. Lots of discussions about him gaslighting Dani throughout their relationship and her "breaking free" of his toxicity at the end, when from what I personally saw, this bytch had been putting her family drama on her boyfriend for basically their entire relationship. What a strange reading of the events of this film it is to think Christian had it coming and that Pelle was the good guy because he was empathetic towards Dani :snoop:

Low key, Pelle is one of the most underrated villains in a while. Scouted these people for the festival like he was at the NFL combine and knew exactly what would go down in crunch time. Now he gets to live in them May Queen guts for the rest of time.

You thought so? I didn't think he did anything particularly evil genius. He basically invited his friends to Sweden with promises of pawging, and the rest was done by the cult.

Just watched this shyt last night to see what the hype was about and it definitely was the weirdest movie Ive seen.

I didnt see Christian as the villain he was just a shyt boyfriend and an even shyttier friend who seemed just as miserable as Dani. How you let your girl take shrooms after something that traumatic happened to her and just let her run off into the middle of nowhere :mjlol:

When he tried to steal Josh’s idea with no fukks given and threw both his homies under the bus when shyt went missing and wasnt even concerned about them :stopitslime:

Was it the drugs that made them so :yeshrug: about that old person ritual? I was glad the movie showed the two others going crazy cause I had the :picard:


There were a shyt ton of WTF!? scenes. Like when Christian ate the pubic hair. Or that sex scene. In fact every scene with that fukking red headed girl. And the death scenes were mad creative and disturbing.

I was surprised no one tried to press Pelle more. Especially Christian. I get this is your culture but you know my girls folks just died and her sister killed herself and them and now you bring us here to watch people murk themselves? That shouldve been hands and feet right there. He was so shrug shoulder about everything I assumed he was apart of them until the end.

Pelle had A1 dirty mack game though. Like someone mentioned earlier he set himself up to be living good for some years with the May Queen. I’ll have to watch this shyt again before I rate it but I have been thinking about this movie since it cut off last night...
