7/10. movie was a comedy. bunch of people busted out laughing throughout.
First 5 minutes were beautiful though

Me and my girl had a lil disagreement before we got into the theater. That def made the movie more interesting lol.
But yo...wtf
OT: I liked the movie. I didn’t love it though and I can see why others wouldn’t. It is a bit slow at times and not a straight up horror flick.
This shyt was fire. Right up there with Hereditary.
All in for the NC-17 extended edition.
I hope they show the deaths of other characters in the extension..
But then again.. its strangely even more haunting when you leave it to the imagination.. the screams of the girl who "got a ride home" .. we can only imagine what they did to her.
That guy from London fukking disappeared and the next time we saw him he was hanging, lungs and intestines gutted, eyes plucked out and still alive.. breathing, being eaten by crows in his back. That is fukking horror. fukk anyone who says this wasn't horror

loved this movie. i wish there was a better pay off at the end but otherwise it was really good. i can understand why people wont like it.

I just read the home release will be NC-17 and be 30 min longer

Funny thing I noticed at the end
at the end when Dani is about to check up on the sex barn where Christian is cac stroking, one of the women stops her, obviously so that she doesn’t interfere, but she looks really really serious, which made me think he probably was gonna be their sperm bank pretty much and she knew she was going to kill him once she saw that
Also, something for anyone to think about it for purely imaginative purposes
Dani basically chose Christian to die right BUT, his seed is still inside Maya, So technically he isn’t dead because he restarted his cycle by making new life albeit giving up his, so you have to wonder how that dynamic would work in the family because Dani knows that Maya had sex with Christian, and since Dani is the most unstable person in the whole village, I wonder how would that workout, maybe she’d end up snapping and would realize after killing Christian she has nobody, that new family can never replace her real one and then kills Maya and her baby then herself just like her sister (hence why her sisters scenes always had her looking at her, cause she’s no different than her)

Dope movie but I have two critiques, one of which is how I think the ending coulda been more powerful while keeping the same message.
