Why the Director's Cut of 'Midsommar' is Creepier Than the Original
according to this 24 more minutes and it expands on a few things

the article spoils the scenes that are extended..it supposedly helps flesh out the story a lil more

I will say it dissapointed me because they didn't flesh out any of the offscreen deaths, but that scene they did add really made you understand Dani had a better grip than any of them and Christian is just shyt
Also that added scene was creepy not going to front, like they just do what they do so casually that you don't even feel the tension which I think is very very unique

Question to those who have seen it: What actually happened to Josh (the dude that pissed on the ancestral tree)? I know we saw him again when Chidi gets killed and he looks fukked up, but what happened there? It almost looks like it was someone dressed in his SKIN, not him. And then when they burn him, his body looks so emaciated and floppy, like a puppet. Did they literally gut that dude?
SPOILER

You remember in the beginning when the swedish kids are playing a game called "skin the fool"? That was a foreshadowing for Josh

Thats why josh's body was skinned and had a jester/fool crown on it.
