I'm low-key mad at this shyt. :aicmon: and I wanna be mad at the Right, but the more I think on it I realize this is in large part is Obama's fight. There's no reason for the Democrats to be losing like this. Gas and Unemployment are down, Obamacare is successful, the stockmarket is booming. America is GOOD right now-- and that's ironically the problem. As great as America is, Obama STILL hasn't done shyt for blacks, for hispanics and immigration, etc. Aside from Obamacare, there's virtually nothing for the populace to rally behind like they did in '08 and '10. So people are like fukk it :yeshrug: the Republicans bee all over it though, they're hungry. They want the throne back and this fool gave it to them on platter... I wish I could skip the next 2 years :snoop:

The problem is America is not good right now. It's a mirage. It's good for certain segments for sure.

The labor and working class of this country has had it's back broken for 30 years straight. That's the base of Democrats and progressives. The only progress made on those fronts have been local. Our progressive representatives in the Federal and State government directly had a hand in dismantling the biggest progressive grass roots campaign since the 60s.

2008-2010 was a wasted chance we may not see for decades. :snoop:

Not, they have not. You are the only one who has not provided any source. You are making baseless claims.

they are all on the BOL site, all the stats to your heart desires. I don't need a journalist trying to analyze economic data in laymens terms and have you regurgitate this foolishness. NOt to mention a lot of your links are just playing with #'s....

I met Anthony Brown (Dem running for governor in Maryland) 6-7 years ago and he struck me as a cornball back then. Maryland is a Democratic state, so you have to be incompetent to lose a statewide election.

In comes Anthony Brown.

Obama shouldve been all over touting how good the country is doing right now, but the candidates purposefully shunned him from their campaigns for no logical reason. His approval rating is inexplicably low cause dude been letting the repubs run the narrative for too long. He's now the Bush of the left. Lost both branches.

Basically this country is going to seesaw for the foreseeable future cause dumbasses don't know what they want.

exactly this
I used to think so. Then I realized we elected a bunch of blue dogs and Clinton Democrats who were never that bold. We keep overestimating how to the left this country is mentally and institutionally. People still vote based on personality too. It is also time to make election day a national holiday.

Still amazes me how election day isn't a federal holiday. I guess its to make sure a certain demographic doesn't come out in full force.
