Senate begins numerous random investigations against him along with the house, lots of explosive rhetoric, and his approval ratings drop another 5-6% (maybe more).

It might be terrible for Hillary in 2016 though; if she even decides to run after this.

funny thing is, economy is recovering and they will get all the credit for it. approval rating are at all time lows , so it can only get better and they will get credit for this. This will be part of the story telling for the 2016 elections, although I doubt America will give one party that much control. Then again white people (white latins included) are scared of the oncoming cultural changes and this republican wave is delaying the inevitable.

The economy is only recovering for corporations and the upper part of the pyramid. The Republicans will be thankful to continue this despite all the "socialism" smearing they have done towards the President. Reaganomics will continue to live.

Absolutely. And the people who shrugged it off will have to deal with President Scott Walker and a Republican Congress in charge of it for the foreseeable future.
