So what yall are saying is that poor dumb black people, just like poor dumb white people, vote for religion over their economic best interests.

no it wasn't religion. It was all the stuff going on in this country against blacks & you couldn't get the Dems to stand tall on it. But they had no problem standing tall on gay stuff. Black people saw that in some of these places and said :pacspit:

the gay stuff was a huge flaw in calculations, nobody of sound mind is running with that crap. That's why those black Pastors dipped on the Dems too. You can't go hard for gays and be mum on your own people. Nobody respects that & now the Dems are paying the price. The Dems made a huge flaw by not taking care of their base (black people) while the president is black. All this racist crap going on & you can't get Dems to stand behind black folks strongly? It destroyed the spirit of the party.

People really looking side-eye at the Dems, when I saw all those folks willingly voting for Thad Cochran I knew something terrible was about to happen in the Senate. You can not take votes for granted like that...it will come back to bite you in the end.

Yup... seems like all of the Dems who were in good with the black community/churches were against gay marriage when they needed that black vote (Obama included)... but once they got in that position of power, they changed their mind

:dead:

Those Pastors didn't forget that, trust me

the sad thing about it is...I really don't think the Dems even care. They got what they wanted out of these years. Black folks were never on the adgenda gay stuff was :yeshrug:

Chicago Public Schools being thrown in the bushes after failed promises probably had something to do with all of this as well

I honestly think Meeks is trolling breh :troll:

He did this to prove a point that the Dems need to follow through on their promises. Also, he knows that the Mayor is still a Democrat so we'll see what comes of this. shyt is crazy

Alabama passes Amendment 1 banning Sharia Law in their state

:deadmanny:

Finally. Now I can fulfill my lifelong dream of relocating to a backwoods Alabama trailer and live in abject poverty without fear of a raghead taking my freedom in the night. Thank you 'Murica. :mjcry:

The Republicans pulled a Nas. That party was left for dead after the Tea Party nearly blew it up. They were supposed to lose the House at one point. I remember people saying the GOP was done for the next TWENTY YEARS. You can NEVER underestimate the idiocy of the average American.

Uncertain grounds
This is why progressives lose. You are removed from the reality of the state of the working class and labor in this country. You don't understand how current wages don't stand up to historic rates when adjusted for inflation. You don't understand that while unemployment is down, the quality of work, wages, length of employment and benefits have been reduced significantly. You don't understand the tax rate is disproportionate. You don't understand that wages haven't kept up with the cost of living. You don't understand that the recovery from 2008 was at the expense of the taxpayer, most of whom are working class individuals.

This is why you ignore the data. You measure success the same way a Republican measures success. Congratulations. Enjoy the record corporate profits and high Dow Jones IA.

:wow::salute:
