i really don't understand how mike shanahan and his son are still getting work in the NFL like that, particularly after that run in DC with all the controversy.

Rex should never have been fired. Idzik did his best to sabotage Rex the last 2 years so he could hire his own coach but everyone got wise to it and fired him too. 2011 and 2012 were the result of the jets rolling the dice and gambling heavy in 2010 and coming up snake eyes. In 2012, the tebow trade and hiring of sparano sent the team off the rails before they even went into the year with dolphin and raiduh cast offs at wide receiver. at anyone thinking you can win with that while shonn green is your best back and you lose Holmes and Revis for the year in the first month of the season.
