I watched some of this being played on YouTube. It looks like it is what is was supposed to be. I don't see what's wrong with it.
Looked at a playthrough myself, it's really just perfectly average. It's functional, does what it set out to do, it's just the bland stage design, music, and some questionable graphical choices that bring it down. The voice acting gets old really quick and the dash mechanic isn't terrible but works better on paper than executed in the game.

5/10 is a perfect rating for this.

And word is the average playthrough for the game is around three hours, which means the end credits last longer than the game.:deadmanny:

If this game came out without the kickstarter and anime fan ad, I bet it would've been received better with scores of 7 at the least
It was a victim of hype. People placed too much hope on a midtier indie game as if it would reinvent this style of game when all it really did was present another take on it.
